Mother's Day - Thoughts and Memories
What does Mother’s Day mean to you?

We wouldn’t be here if we didn’t have a mother. Mothers mean a lot to a lot of people. Mothers love us, they feed us and nurture us, they give us life, they raise us as best as they can, they encourage us and forgive us.

It has been said and I am sure most will agree that a mother is very important in everyone’s life and without her life would be unimaginable.

Everyone sees Mother’s Day as a day to thank mums for being there and for being so special. And it is a day for everyone to sit back and celebrate their mum.

Of course some may not see Mother’s Day like this and I understand that not everyone will celebrate this day for one reason or another. Mother’s Day is a hard day for some women even though the children of the world, you, me and all babes born would not be here if they didn’t have a mother who gave birth to them.

Today, I’d like to say… to all mothers who have given birth to babes, in the past, present and future I understand the happiness, the sadness, the joy, the memories and the thoughts that come from giving birth to a child. This message is to all mothers, including mothers whose babies were adopted and to mothers who have adoption those babies.

Mother’s Day brings back so many feelings of sadness and happiness and everyone will spend today with memories of the past, thoughts of today and we all look to the future.

Toni
